Fans flooded the post with rave reviews, saying the film would be a hit and look “awesome.”

According to speculation, Rajpal Yadav will play a transgender, who came to Mumbai to become a hero. Rubina and Hiten will play her supporting friends. The film will have an OTT release.

Ardh marks the directorial debut of music composer Palash Muchhal. He also wrote the screenplay. Speaking about bringing in Rubina Dilaik, the director previously opened up about how she beat out 50 girls to land the role. In an interview with ETimes, Palash said that she did well in her screen test, and he also remembered her role in the movie Choti Bahu and cast her after drawing conclusions from it. “Yeah, I had seen her on Bigg Boss 14 as well, but I didn’t see that show much, but a lot of my family members were avid watchers.”
