Ram Charan had announced his next film starring director Gowtam Tinnanuri of Jersey fame. Recently, speculation has been rife that their upcoming film, tentatively titled RC 16, has been shelved. RAM CHARAN OPENS ON RC16

Ram Charan said he trusted Gowtam completely and, in fact, gave him carte blanche when it came to the script. “Gowtam is working on an action-oriented commercial drama. There have been rumors that he is writing a sports drama, but it’s not true. We are working on an action movie. I gave him carte blanche I’m excited to collaborate with a talented filmmaker like Gowtam,” Charan said.

As is well known, Ram Charan is working with maverick filmmaker Shankar for his ongoing project, tentatively titled RC15. This movie is a political thriller, as Ram Charan himself recently revealed.
