After making her film debut in Christopher Nolan’s Oscar-winning war flick Dunkirk, Harry Styles is really accelerating his acting career. Here’s a guide to every role he has in the pipeline, and a few others that are heavily rumored.

Realized by LibraryOlivia Wilde, this mysterious psychological thriller premiered at the Venice International Film Festival in early September. Styles plays Jack Chambers, a young man living and working in a prosperous 1950s California town. Florence Pugh plays Jack’s wife, Alice, who begins to suspect that their affluent community isn’t as idyllic as it seems.
In an Instagram post shared in February 2021, Wilde revealed that Styles’ role is a supporting role and praised his egoless approach. “Not only did he relish the opportunity to allow the brilliant @florencepugh to take center stage as our ‘Alice’, but he infused every scene with a nuanced sense of humanity.” she writes. “He didn’t have to join our circus, but he jumped on board with humility and grace, and blew us away every day with his skill, warmth and ability to step back.”
Before its premiere in Venice, don’t worry darling was plagued by rift rumors between Pugh and Wilde. This is said to stem, at least in part, from the director’s reported romantic relationship with Styles and how it played out on set. It remains to be seen whether this negative press will overshadow the film’s release.

Styles takes center stage in this romantic drama set in 1950s Brighton. He plays Tom Burgess, a police officer who falls in love with museum curator Patrick Hazlewood (David Dawson) at a time when homosexuality among men is illegal in the UK. Consequently, Styles’ character agrees to marry Marion Taylor (Emma Corrin), a schoolteacher who has fallen in love with him, setting up an unstable and potentially toxic love triangle.
my policeman is based on a 2012 novel by Bethan Roberts and features theater veteran Michael Grandage as the director. Discuss the film with rolling stone in August, Styles said, “It’s not like, ‘It’s a gay story about these guys who are gay.’ It’s a matter of love and a waste of time for me.
He also suggested that the film will offer a different portrayal of same-sex relationships that viewers are used to. “A lot of the gay sex in the movie is two guys indulging in it, and that kind of takes away the tenderness,” Styles said. “There will be, I imagine, people watching it who were alive and well in those days when it was illegal to be gay, and [Michael] wanted to show that he is tender, loving and sensitive.

Last year, Styles made an unexpected appearance in Eternals, an ambitious Marvel superhero movie directed by Nomadland’s Chloe Zhao. He appeared in a mid-credits sequence as Eros/Starfox, a superhero who has the power to control the emotions of others.
Discussing his short but sweet role, Styles said Dizzy last year: “I’m only in [it] all at the end. But who didn’t grow up wanting to be a superhero, you know? It was a great experience and I’m so grateful to have been able to work with Chloe.
A sequel to Eternals is now in the works, but it’s not yet known if Styles will feature permanently. However, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige teased the return of Starfox and his companion Pip (voiced by Patton Oswalt) to Comic-Con in San Diego in July, telling MTV News: “Yes, the adventures of Eros and Pip are something very exciting for us.” Watch this place.

Untitled Star Wars TV Show

It was reported by Giant freakin robot in July that, according to “reliable and proven sources,” Styles is “currently looking to join an upcoming Star Wars show.” Fans were understandably very excited, but Styles has since refuted the rumours, telling rolling stone“This is the first time I’ve heard of this. I guess…wrong.
Faster, Cheaper, Better

In August 2020, film distributor Vértice Cine posted on its website that Styles and Brad Pitt had been cast as Faster, Cheaper, Bettera new movie from Somnambulist director Dan Gilroy. It sounds like a sci-fi story – a brief plot synopsis on the film’s IMDb page teases: “A union foreman, a young entrepreneur, an indoor farm executive and the life of a tech billionaire are turned upside down when automation and AI are transforming the world as we know it.”
However, shortly after Vértice Cine’s premature announcement, sources said vanity lounge that neither Styles nor Pitt are actually confirmed to star in the film. Two years later, Styles’ involvement in this project remains very “to be confirmed”.
