Celebrities and fans are granting special wishes to Mollywood’s dear Lalettan aka Mohanlal as he turns 62 today. It’s been 41 years since he debuted in the industry as a villain avatar, but over the years he’s earned the title of well-deserved hero both on-screen and off-screen. thanks to terrific performances, a real character and the great treasure of Fans. Director Shaji Kailas, whose USP has been mass-action films, attempts a new method of storytelling through this film, which is billed as a single-actor/one-set thriller. The actor-director duo, who made hits like ‘Aaraam Thampuran’ and ‘Narasimham’ together, are teaming up for a movie after a 12-year hiatus, through ‘Alone’. Recent reports indicate that the filming of the film was completed in 18 days and that Mohanlal has also completed his voice acting. Industry experts say it would be an OTT version.
Who wants to see Lalettan in a turban avatar? Wait for the release of “Monster”, directed by the famous “Pulimurugan” Vysakh. The actor appears as a character named Lucky Singh in the film and if the already released posters are anything to see, there will also be some gun action in the film. According to Vyaskh, the film will be a complete performer with an intriguing and thrilling storyline. The film also has Tollywood actress Lakshmi Manchu, Malayalam actors Honey Rose and Sudev Nair in major roles.

And finally, Lalettan makes his directorial debut through this fantastic children’s film, written by Jijo Punnoose. The film, which will be shot in Kochi, Goa, Portugal and Bangkok, also has the fame of “Minnal Murali”, Guru Somasundaram, and some foreign actors playing the key roles. The film has Santosh Sivan as its cinematographer and he revealed that “Barroz” has magical realism, 3D and heavy visual effects used to augment its storyline. Two of his songs will be shot in Portugal and Bangkok. The film’s first look poster was released for the New Year, and it had the actor in a stately, tonsured head and long beard look.
The sequel to his 2019 film ‘Lucifer’ – which had become the highest-grossing Malayalam film until its release – is set to exceed his fans’ expectations once again. Director Prithviraj and writer Murali Gopy have also hinted one thing or the other about the film through their social media pages, over the past few months. When Murali wrote “The wriE cause” on his page a few weeks ago, fans interpreted it as a brilliant pun to allude to the movie, as Prithviraj also responded to the post with an “AmEn.” Followers of the franchise say the capital E stands for “Empuraan.” The team also released Mohanlal’s “intense” look from the film a month ago.
Priyadarshan sports movie
The actor has been training hard in the gym and many say it is for his sports drama with Priyadarshan, in which he plays a boxer. Apparently, he is trying to lose 15 pounds for the role and has also religiously shared photos and videos of his workouts, via his social media pages. Also being a trained wrestler in real life, his fans think it would be another cakewalk for the actor, who also trained seriously in boxing to play the role.
