Brian Duffield sets new mystery film in 20th century studios, Kaitlyn Dever stars –

Between Love and monsters and Spontaneous, Brian Duffield has literally had an explosive 2020. Although these are the two versions of Paramount, it looks like his career will continue to grow at 20th century Disney studios.

According to an exclusive report by Deadline, the company acquired the rights to Duffield’s specification script for a film titled No one will save you. In addition to polishing the script, Duffield is also expected to lead the project, with Kaitlyn Dever attached to the star.

Tim White, Trevor White and Allan Mandelbaum are all slated to produce the film under the Star Thrower Entertainment banner (Ingrid goes west, Wind river, The post office, Will Smith’s coming soon King Richard).

The plot of the film is currently being kept a secret.

Dever is probably best known for her role in Olivia Wilde’s (crazily) popular teen comedy. Booksmart, as well as Netflix Unbelievable. She currently stars in the sitcom directed by Tim Allen. Last man standing – which is in its final season – and will appear in the feature film adaptation of the Tony Award-winning musical Dear Evan Hansen to be released later this year.

In addition to this project, Duffield is currently working on a Skull island animated series for Netflix, and will also produce the upcoming Universal Studios film based on the tragic story of Cocaine bear.
